You sold out to the man with today's entry, barking for your Client's meeting. Come on, are you a blogger or a flogger. You've been so about the content till today. Who got to you man? Who got to you!

Well, I'm sorry you feel that way DJ. If you notice, I really don't write about clients at all, and also stay away from mentioning them at any of the other blogs I write for. The only reason for doing this - which was on my own volition, not because anyone told me to - was because I had discussed with a colleague which bloggers could be invited to the event, in general. A few invites had gone out, and we determined that it was something we could offer up to the blogging community at large, hence my entry. This is, of course, the easiest way to do it, hence my disclaimer.
Your point is duly noted, however, and I will keep it in mind should an opportunity like this one come about again. Believe me, if I wanted to tout client events and such I could have been doing so every single day since last Fall when this blog opened up, but I know better. It's a free event, nothing is being "sold" there, and I know for a fact that bloggers enjoy having access to events such as this just as the press does. Again, I'll keep that in mind.

Tom, I have more respect for you today. Not only were you willing to post my comment, but you replied honestly and without spin.
I was busting you yesterday. Hats off for how you delt with it. Now if anyone reading this is interested, I am holding a garage sale this weekend, where we will sell old clothing, an 8-foot piece of fence, a few hats, and some comic books -- ah busting you again.
Keep up the good work Tom, and I'll keep on commenting.
